The 50mph sign opposite the Parish Noticeboard in Goring Lane has been knocked over. Whilst its pole shows obvious signs of corrosion, skid marks on the verge and the fact that the number post for one of the cottages opposite has also been knocked over,  apparently at the same time,  suggests there may have been yet another accident/near miss in this vicinity.
